NorthStar Special Services, Inc is Hiring a Billing Coordinator Near Randallstown, MD

I. PURPOSE/RATIONALE

This position is a full-time salaried role and the person who fills it will report to the Program Director. As a Billing Coordinator, you will have the responsibility of ensuring that data related to various aspects of iCare Manager/Quality Assurance Plan, including attendance, incidents, medical data, PCP (Person-Centered Plan), staff training, and staff documentation, and physical environment, is accurate, complete, and compliant. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of relevant policies and procedures, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders to maintain data integrity while operating in a fast-paced environment. Maintains ongoing communication with Interdisciplinary team members, management staff and other relevant program staff.

Working collaboratively with the individual and the interdisciplinary team, I am responsible for ensuring that the client's Person-Centered Plan (PCP) is developed and implemented within the given time frames. The PCP should include specific goals, outcomes, support, funding streams, and services that can assist the client in developing self-determination and self-advocacy skills. This, in turn, will help the client attain the highest possible level of community integration and independence. Adheres to all applicable Agency, State, and Federal policies regarding confidentiality, abuse, and neglect.

II. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

To be eligible for this job, you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. However, equivalent work experience will also be considered. If you have prior experience working with iCare Manager or similar systems, it will be an added advantage.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. They should also have in-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and policies governing data management in healthcare.

Effective communication skills are a must-have for this job role, and the candidate should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Lastly, the candidate should have completed all DDA and agency-required training successfully and should possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

III. REQUIRED SKILLS

Great communication and interpersonal skills are a must, including the ability to interact positively, effectively, and diplomatically with individuals and colleagues.

You should have the ability to provide instruction, training, and support to staff working with developmentally disabled individuals.

You must have the ability to assess problematic situations and implement appropriate and effective resolutions.

You must have the ability to conduct investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed.

Lastly, you should be able to respond to crises efficiently and effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
